Andrew Tokeley - Online Etiquette

The Senior School was very fortunate today to be visited by Andrew (Daan's Dad!) who currently works for 8i and has a wide range of expertise in overseeing projects with online companies.

He was kind enough to take the time to share some of his experiences of online etiquette, including:

- the importance of respect both offline and online

- accepting differences in people - just like at school everyone is different, that's the same when you grow up, differences are good!

- being aware of the impact you can have online, good and bad 

- how people change when they're online

The students commented that this linked particularly well with their learning in class around developing a positive 'digital footprint'.

They also enjoyed some cool augmented reality with  ZOMBIES!
